Creating trend-led seasonal looks for a cosmetics giant
Fashion and make-up are constantly changing. How do we keep Boots No7 feeling fresh and different yet on-trend from season to season?
For a number of seasons we’ve created designs for No7 Limited Edition and Gift With Purchase items. Working closely with the No7 creative team, we’re guided by the brand’s vibrant, sophisticated personality, yet inspired by trends. Exploring trend predictions and mood boards, we develop motifs, patterns and colour themes for the season, then apply the resulting look across a range of componentry and packaging. We also develop the all-important seasonal style bibles that keep Boots’ Christmas gift manufacturers reading from the same page.
Our work for No7 Poppy King range involves a similar approach. An inspired celebration of polka dots, 1950s colours and Bakelite jewellery, this standalone range of lip products was developed with the No7 creative team, and the lipstick Queen herself, Poppy King. Adding a fun retro vibe to the No7 stand, it’s another exciting visual manifestation of this ever-vibrant cosmetics brand.
What we did
