Creating a cracking good packaging concept for this famous brand’s new Easter selection
We've long admired how Fortnum and Mason delicately balance their rich heritage with a dedication to the experimental and contemporary. Their signature brand feel reflects their proud history of working with interesting artists and illustrators through the ages.
Commissioned to create a packaging concept for their Easter range of biscuits and confectionery, we settled on the theme of 'extraordinary chickens', and developed a witty illustrative style based around the delightful patterns of plumage.
Tiptoeing the borders between decoration, abstraction and camouflage, our illustrations retain the brand's trademark wit and humour. And with spring-like colours, elegant typography and gold highlights, it all adds up to a solution that's charming, elegant and unmistakably Fortnums.
