Good leadership requires the wearing of many hats, and Heidi’s decade at Together Design has furnished her hatstand with everything from a businesswoman’s fedora to a diplomat’s beret, alongside the spring bonnet of a seasoned awards judge. Her favourite? The treasured problem-solving hat. Ever since the daily puzzles she used to tackle as a child, she's always loved a conundrum – and still relishes helping brands solve their complex creative problems. Recent Together highlight? Hats off to The Gruffalo.

Katja Thielen – Founder and Creative Director
Alongside her deft creative touch and expert handling of clients, Katja’s hands-on leadership style includes the world-class dexterity with a bottle opener that reveals her origins as a winemaker’s daughter. After a decade at the helm of Together Design, she’s more passionate than ever about consumer brands and retail, and loves the challenge of developing emotional connections, crafting personality and creating new brands. Discover Yoosli to see it all come together.
Robin Kadrnka – Brand Strategist
After more than a decade at board level with some of the world’s largest brand agencies, you might expect Robin to be a hard-nosed executive with big shoulder pads and an impatient manner. Far from it. For her, it’s all about understanding what makes people tick, and she runs her strategic workshops with such sensitivity and insight that around these parts we call it ‘brand therapy’. Is your brand ready for a session on the couch?
Jodie Wightman – Creative Director
We've long admired Jodie's creative skills from afar, but little did we know that she's also a nifty dancer with impeccable timing. Indeed, fresh off the plane after five years in NYC, and trailing a wealth of strategic knowledge gained from working with some of the world's biggest brands, she waltzed straight into a starring role with us. She's now relishing her return to the London design scene and enjoying those other much-missed Blighty favourites; cream teas, proper spelling and celebrating the end of a successful project by getting down to a boogie.
Alice King – Senior Designer
Take some bold stripes, strong cheese, old signs, irresistible packaging, trashy telly, hot fashion and brilliant typography. Shake it all together, say the magic word and you’ve got Alice, the designer as alchemist. Picking through her eclectic melting pot, she turns it into gold, before applying it expertly across different media, from packaging to POS and photo shoots to digital. Explore our designs for Boots Seventeen to experience her work gleaming beautifully.
Eszter Feher – Project and Marketing Manager
A go-getting girl in a globalised world, Eszter was schooled in Budapest, lived in Paris and is fluent in three languages. To cap it all, she's even lived in Bournemouth, where she studied international marketing. Now firmly ensconced in the melting pot of East London, her passions include drawing, dancing and occasionally gazing longingly at atlases. Here at Together, her finely honed project management skills ensure that nothing ever gets lost in translation.
Tiffany Willis – Senior Account Manager
Tiffany's alter egos include vinyl-spinning music lover, back-flipping fitness freak and darkroom-owning photographic fan, and she brings this same winning combination of passion, agility and diligence to her account handling. Digging deep into the project, and deftly balancing our clients' needs with the demands of our buzzing studio, she's a formidable asset to our clients as well as our team. Born and raised in Texas, she's certainly earned her spurs at Together, but believe us, there's nothing cowboy about her.
Paddy Carey – Senior Designer
From the back of the sofa to the back of a napkin, there’s nowhere that Paddy won’t explore in the quest for that special idea. He’s forever making the most of those happy accidents that occur when you leave yourself open to inspiration. A style guide virtuoso who has worked with many licensed brands, he loves helping those initial ideas eventually reach large-scale production. Our work for Delicious is currently lighting up his every lunchtime.
David Clayton – Senior Artworker
Consider David’s passion for comic books alongside his vast experience of print/pre-press and artworking, and you’d be right to suspect that he’s something of a studio superhero. An expert in typography and image retouching, he has an exacting eye for detail and loves to take responsibility for the quality of our final artwork. Have a close look at our Gordon’s Gin ‘Elderflower’ campaign to see his skills in action. Ker-pow!!
Katie Lyons – Studio Manager
Nicola Robson – Designer
One of those inspiringly adventurous types, Nicola is often found climbing mountains, trekking to waterfalls or zooming around in powerboats – but always with sketchbook in hand. This innate sense of daring informs her work too. Forever tending towards the creative and experimental, she’s passionate about drawn typography as well as illustration and collage, the latter shown to great effect in our Museum of London brand awareness campaign.
Harry Smith – Designer
Growing up in the Westcountry's lush pastures, Harry's constant reorganising of his Crayolas represented the first green shoots of an obsession that would eventually bloom into a career as a talented designer and typographer. His dream project is to brand the first moon base. Yet despite these lofty ambitions you can't take the Somerset out of the boy, and he still likes to celebrate the successful conclusion of a project by cracking open the scrumpy. Ooh, and indeed, arr.
Kate Larsen – Senior Designer
Thoroughly thorough and often accompanied by her trusty hound Peanut, Kate’s happiest when creating something unexpected and lovely, whether with pencil, mouse, knitting needle or crochet hook. A highly talented graphic designer with a gift for illustration and a particular penchant for pattern, she’s our go-to designer for inspired gift products and packaging. Check out our Boots No7 case study to see more.
Yes, Peanut is indeed a dog. Quiet and gentle with a playful streak, she belongs to Kate but is loved by us all. Her many skills include chasing balls, running very fast, seeking out hidden food, befriending people and finding the warmest spot in the room. We once tried explaining to her the finer points of brand development, but she gave us a quizzical look and went back to licking an empty yoghurt pot. ‘Hidden depths’, we decided, before thinking ‘Hey, was that my yoghurt?
Bryony Meyrick – Creative Director
Currently on maternity leave. With her neat freak tendencies, passion for the unusual and childhood devotion to sharp pencils, Bryony was always destined for a life in design. Over many years in the industry’s upper echelons, she’s developed impeccable brand identity design skills, an exceptional typographic eye, and a belief in the power of a damn good concept. Creatively leading by example, she sets high standards for the team to follow. Recent highlight? Condé Nast College.
