A little bit of serious and a lot of oomph

When our long-term copywriting partner needed a new brand identity and website, we were delighted to help.

We've been working closely with Serious Oomph founder Maf Bishop for many years, so we were well aware of the new company's strengths and talents. We wanted to create a bold and simple identity with a touch of personality, that would let the words do the job, yet appeal to their design-savvy clients.

Our light bulb pencil icon perfectly brings to life their proposition of ‘words and ideas for brands’, and sits proudly above the new wordmark. We also developed a series of witty pencil icons to help them tell their story. In partnership with Futurebuilding, we designed the new website as a showcase, while the simple play of icons and words came together beautifully on a range of stationery and promotional elements.
